The Clip allows you to move your horse without tying or untying your rope. You can now grain or water your horse very quickly with one simple pull of the rope, anywhere. The Clip is not only convenient, it keeps your horse safe from inside the trailer to outside where ever you go. The Clip goes with you.

Use a standard 5/8" poly lead rope 10' long.

The Clip Instructions: Hold the clip in one hand with the center knobs and friction screw facing up. With the lead in the other hand, make a small loop. Put the loop down through the bottom ring of the Clip. Then bring the loop up over the top of the Clip and pull it tight to the Clip above the knobs.

Setting 1 - Adjustment: This setting (top of the knobs) allows you to easily adjust the length of the lead as needed. A stopper knot in the lead will keep the horse from pulling free.

Setting 2 - Standard: This setting (middle of the Clip between the knobs and the friction screw) allows you to adjust resistance on the rope and adjust for various ropes by turning the friction screw.

Setting 3 - Locked: This setting (bottom of the Clip) will lock the lead in place.

IMPORTANT: Do not tie a stopper knot in the lead when used inside the trailer or for cross tying.
